I will not...

I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.
I will not accumulate stuff in the house.

Vijay just went to give away a whole lot of stuff we did not need. And what a lot that turned out to be! I am ashamed of myself and promise that it will not happen again.

All cupboards and drawers are hereafter going to be half empty. Honest...

Good luck with that one! I'd wager that your drawers will be overflowing in no time!

What a wonderful thought and gesture. Inspiring!

Here's an idea: before buying anything (except food, I guess), if we could think about or imagine what it would become in two years time, it may save us from a lot of unnecessary purchases since a lot of purchases may end up becoming pieces of junk.

Anyhow, few people think like you now, these times are all about shopping till one drops and about embracing the throwaway culture!

Thanks for the tip, Mayank. In spite of my beliefs, I too am very ordinary (unlike my husband) and like to shop. I hope I will eventually get over temptations.

How very true- and what a resolution that can be! I want to clear the paper clutter in my home from so many cupboards, boxes and basement- I just cannot complete the task....I suffer from paper throwing anxiety!

But maybe ....soon... with a little resolution from the blogs...?

Gautham: No, they won't. I am a Capricorn and once Capricornians are very determined that way!

Arundhati: Paper anxiety...I like that! Maybe you can scan some and throw them away?
